The Rev.Peter Skellern, our choir's president for the past 14 years, died on February 17th.
Often we have performed some of his choral compositions and in 2003 he wrote the
Nativity cantata for the Aeolian Singers, which we later recorded on CD.

We are grateful to to Dacorum Radio who help to provide choir publicity. This includes pre-concert interviews. Before the Spring concert Grethe, our chairman, and Catherine Pusey from  Hemel Hempstead Singers gave a live interview. We would be delighted to see new singers and are keen to help young members. You are welcome to come and try us out on Thursday evenings to see if you would like to join.   Click to see venue and rehearsal details.

This seasons highlight has been Elgar's Dream of Gerontius in November when we were joined by London's City Chamber Choir and Hertfordshire Chamber Orchestra. The many encouraging comments from our appreciative audience attest that we did full justice to this magnificent work, and that the three soloists helped to make it a memorable evening.   Click to read comments on this and other concerts

In 2014 the choir celebrated it's  50th Anniversary.  As well as a celebratory performance of Handel's Messiah we were hosted by Ensemble Vocal de Pellouailles-les-Vignes, a choir from the Loire valley. Our 50th Anniversary party rounded off the season. See pictures in the Photo Gallery.
